Pink Floyd is an English rock band. They earned recognition for their psychedelic and space rock. Later as they evolved they were known for their progressive rock music. The group sold over 210 million albums worldwide; including 74.5 million albums in the United States. Pink Floyd was formed in London in 1965. They wore one of the most popular bands in the London underground music scene in the late 1960s.
